REFLEX SUBWOOFER

LSS’s DG118 loudspeaker system provides high output, low distortion sound reinforcement. This system was designed for a wide range of professional applications. The 460mm low frequency woofer with 100mm voice coil provides higher performance and very high peak output for small concert sound. The DG118 powering mode is only passive amplified operation with external crossover or digital processor.

APPLICATION

DG118 is a reflex subwoofer for high performance, high power handling, low distortion for professional sound reinforcement. The cabinet is constructed of birch plywood of 15mm reinforced with optimized reflex for low distortion. The woofer construction is custom of 460mm(18″) of diameter with 100mm(4″) split winding copper voice coil, 57mm(2″) peak-to-peak excursion before damage, double silicone spider with optimized compliance, ventilated voice coil gap for reduced power compression, aluminium demodulating ring for very low distortion. DG118 powering mode is only passive amplified operation with external digital processor.
